How Do You Know When Faeries Are Near?

Be aware...there are good faeries full of love and light who only seek to help and inspire you, and then there are bad faeries who are tricksy and find no greater pleasure than teasing, vexing and tormenting humans, purely for sport! The following are clues that you are in the vicinity of faeries or where they frequently inhabit. It may suddenly bring back to your recollection peculiar things that have happened to you in the past....

- Sudden or unexplained rustling or trembling of leaves.

- Unexplained goose bumps or shivers when alone out in nature.

- You personally experience unexplained uncontrolled laughter or extreme silliness.

- You explain unexplained loss of time or memory.

- Butterflies alight upon you.

- Dust devils or whirlwinds that suddenly blow up out of perfectly still day.

-Rippling bath or outdoor water with no wind or apparent cause.

- The feeling of spider walking upon you with no spiders present.

- Grass blades bending or twigs snapping with no obvious cause.

- Orbs or flickers of light around your home or garden, or area where you hike.

- A quick movement or flash of light out of the corner of your eye that cannot be explained.

- A strong scent hits you and no one is near.

- Inexplicable disappearances and reappearances of things in your home.

- A feeling of being watched in your attic, basement, or other dark place.

- Dreams that always involve the outdoors. (This can be faeries calling you to your last almost-encounter with them.)

- Animal attracted to you as you sit quietly or hum. (Faeries sometimes take the form of animals to get close to see and inspect you, assess whether you are safe, or a pure mind or not.)

- Music or faint singing from sources that cannot be identified.

- When out in nature, do you feel or sense the trees and plants "watching" you?

- Do you feel coming changes in the weather long before signs of them arrive?

A Faerie Spell Of Protection to Recite In Your Garden

Small garden faeries, brownies and gnomes,

Come circle 'round and protect my home.

A token of friendship I now leave in this place,

May you always guard and defend this sacred place.

Feel Like You've Lost Your Ability to See Faeries?

- Into The Wild Oaks -

Into the wild oaks we dance,

To sing and play and find romance.

For in oak limbs the fae folk play,

And beckon us back the following day.

Scented of nectar and twilight's mist,

Surely you felt that faerie's kiss!

What?  You can't see them prancing wild?

Then sadly, you've lost your eyes-of-a-child.

Come BACK AGAIN to the wild oaks,

But first shed your worldly skin.

With faerie dust sparkles your eyelids we'll kiss,

To let the fae back in!
